Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior AI Data Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouses for AI/ML initiatives. The role requires expertise with SAP HANA and hands-on experience in AI/ML data preparation, feature stores, and model-ready data delivery.

You will deliver full-stack data solutions spanning collection, ingestion, processing, storage, and delivery, using local, distributed, and cloud technologies with strong security.

We are seeking a senior-level AI Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and warehouse solutions that fuel AI/ML initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade data platforms, strong expertise with SAP HANA and recent experience in AI/ML workflows (e.g., data preparation for model training, feature stores, model-ready data delivery) and familiar with ontology model and concept.

Delivers full-stack data solutions across the entire data processing pipeline. This relies on systems engineering principles to design and implement solutions that span the data lifecycle to: collect, ingest, process, store, persist, access, and deliver data at scale and at speed. It includes knowledge of local, distributed, and cloud-based technologies; data virtualization and smart caching; and all security and authentication mechanisms required to protect the data.Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate unorganized data into databases or data sources that are ready for analysis; Design and implement data solutions by defining functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications; Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle, e.g., analyze / profile data, create conceptual, logical and physical data model designs, architect and design ETL, reporting and analytics; Maintain data systems performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; Define standards, best practices, and certification processes for data objects.

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, including 3+ years supporting AI/ML systems - traditional business intelligence and data warehousing concepts (ETL, data modeling, and reporting)
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data/system architecture
• Experience in gathering requirements and understanding business processes
• Strong proficiency in Python, NiFi, SQL
• Hands‑on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines at scale
• Familiar with Safe Agile framework

Desired Skills

• Experience designing and building ontologies, taxonomies, or knowledge graphs
• Demonstrate ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Master's degree in a related technical field

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
