Job summary

Bold Orange is seeking a Software Engineer, Data to join its technology team in Minneapolis. The role focuses on Snowflake-powered data pipelines, data modeling, and analytics for multiple client engagements.

You will work with Python, C#/.NET, and DevOps practices across Windows and Linux environments. You will collaborate with project managers, developers, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable data platforms, ensuring governance, security, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional software engineering with data engineering focus.
Deep Snowflake production experience designing data models and ELT/ETL pipelines.
Strong Python and C# for backend development; REST API knowledge.
Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain Snowflake data models, warehouses, and ELT/ETL pipelines.
Develop and tune SQL and transformations in Snowflake and relational DBs.
Own Snowflake governance, cost management, and security.
Design and maintain backend APIs in Python and C#/.NET.
