Motion Recruitment seeks a Senior Data Engineer for a full-time, hybrid role in Addison, TX. You will help build and own a modern data platform using Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Azure, and AI technologies, supporting enterprise reporting and national-scale operations.

This high-impact position offers direct exposure to leadership, ownership of a brand-new Snowflake environment, and opportunities to drive AI initiatives and data quality across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake administration and optimization.
• Advanced dbt experience with ownership of production projects (models, tests, snapshots, macros, CI/CD, and environment management).
• Experience with Fivetran, Airbyte, Stitch, or similar ELT/integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own Snowflake platform and data warehouse.
• Develop and maintain dbt models, data pipelines, and data marts.
• Manage data ingestion and integrations through Fivetran and related tools.
• Ensure data quality, monitoring and pipeline reliability.
• Partner with business stakeholders and consulting teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
• Evaluate and implement AI‑powered capabilities, including Snowflake Cortex and LLM integrations.

Seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a full-time, hybrid role in Addison, TX (3 days onsite).

This position will play a key role in building and ultimately owning a modern data platform for a growing home services organization, leveraging Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Azure, and AI technologies. The ideal candidate will help drive enterprise reporting, data warehousing, and future AI initiatives across a multi-site business operating nationwide.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake, including administration, optimization, and performance tuning
• Advanced dbt experience with ownership of production projects (models, tests, snapshots, macros, CI/CD, and environment management)
• Experience with Fivetran, Airbyte, Stitch, or similar ELT/integration platforms
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling

• Experience with Great Expectations, Monte Carlo, Elementary, Soda, or similar data quality tools.
