Qualifications

• Strong Python proficiency for data processing and automation.
• Deep SQL and Snowflake expertise for performant, cost-aware data warehousing.
• Experience building and maintaining complex data workflows with Airflow.
• Familiarity with Terraform and cloud services (AWS/GCP).
• Security mindset for handling PHI/PII with RBAC and governance considerations.
• Startup DNA: ownership, ambiguity tolerance, willingness to wear many hats.
• Strong communication to explain technical options to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect robust data pipelines using Airflow, Python, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Build and evolve cloud infrastructure with Terraform (AWS/GCP).
• Write production-grade code, promote testing, reviews, and CI/CD.
• Design performant SQL transformations and data models in Snowflake (dbt a plus).
• Implement observability and monitoring to protect data quality.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Product Managers to deliver data products.
• Own the FastAPI data API, including endpoints, deployment, and reliability.
