Job summary

Royal Electric Company is seeking a Data Engineer for our Dallas Office. You will join the Digital Transformation team, building reliable data pipelines and governed datasets to support reporting, analytics, forecasting, and operational decision-making across ERP, MRP, and project management systems.

You will collaborate with IT, Construction Operations, Finance, and PMO to transform data from core business systems into trusted data assets, strengthen data governance, and enable enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field required.
• 3–5 years of data engineering, data integration, or related data platform work.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ETL/ELT data pipelines and APIs.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure) and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines supporting reporting needs.
• Integrate data from ERP/MRP, project management, scheduling, field mobility, and financial systems into governed datasets.
• Develop transformations standardizing project, labor, cost, vendor, material, and operational data.
• Automate recurring data movement and workflows using scripting and APIs.
• Document data flows, dependencies, and technical standards.
