Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Data Engineer - People Analytics to build end-to-end data pipelines, models, and data workflows for HR analytics. You will partner with HR, IT, and People Analytics to deliver reliable data for reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities include overseeing engineering best practices, governance, and secure access to sensitive HR data, while enabling stakeholders with robust analytics capabilities in Python, R, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• 3+ years' experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2+ years' experience programming in Python for data manipulation.
• 3+ years' experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• 2+ years' experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery).
• 2+ years' experience with scheduling tools like Airflow or Composer.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes that integrate HR data from systems like Workday and payroll.
• Develop and optimize data workflows for data accuracy and availability for People Analytics stakeholders.
• Oversee a team of data engineers, providing mentorship on best practices in data engineering and coding standards.
• Structure data for analysis, develop data models, and create reproducible workflows for reporting in R, Python, and BI tools.
• Ensure data governance and security per company policies and HR compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, IT and People Analytics to understand requirements and provide insights.
