Job summary

The American College of Physicians (ACP) in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Technology division. This full-time hybrid role requires 2 in-office days per week at the Philadelphia HQ.

You will lead enterprise data transformation, pipelines, and activation platforms across the data lakehouse ecosystem. You will design and govern data flows, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement pipelines with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and modern ELT techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/related field required.
• 3+ years of data pipeline design and development experience.
• Experience with Snowflake; dbt and Fivetran preferred; CoCo/ Semantic Views desirable.
• Experience with large-scale Customer 360 data models is a plus.
• Strong SQL and Python, and knowledge of cloud architectures (AWS/Azure).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

• Lead data pipeline design and development across the organization.
• Ensure designs comply with data governance and architecture standards.
• Operate in agile processes with visibility and change tracking.
• Document data models, transformations, and orchestration clearly.
• Collaborate with data management and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to enterprise data architecture discussions and vendor interactions.
• Monitor data systems and ensure reliable, high-quality pipelines.
