Job summary

Atlantic Group in Boston is seeking a full-time Data Engineer for a hybrid role. You will design scalable data pipelines, integrate OMS/PMS-like systems and external vendors, and collaborate with Data Management, AI, and Software Engineering to deliver high-value solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python and SQL skills, and extensive Snowflake Cortex AI experience, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or similar technical subject
• 5+ years of commercial data engineering experience
• 3+ years of Snowflake experience including Cortex AI
• 3+ years of Python experience (Python 3+)
• Strong MySQL querying skills and API experience
• Experience in Agile environments

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines integrating internal applications and external data vendors
• Analyze and manage complex data structures across source and target systems
• Collaborate with Data Management, AI, and Software Engineering teams to deliver high-value solutions
• Work in an agile team of data engineers led by the Principal Data Engineer
• Develop and maintain data sources using MySQL databases and Python applications
• Create and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake
• Transform and manage data within Snowflake environments
• Build AI agents and semantic views leveraging Snowflake Cortex AI
• Apply data engineering best practices to develop scalable, maintainable, and testable code
• Support the greenfield Snowflake Cortex initiative with complex datasets
