Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Data Engineer Intern to design, build, and optimize data pipelines in Databricks, supporting analytics across the platform. You will develop and maintain PySpark, SQL, and notebook workflows, troubleshoot data issues, and help improve data quality during a 10-week paid program starting June 1, 2027.

40 hours per week for the duration of the internship, with undergraduate or graduate studies in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or Artificial Intelligence

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required at time of application.
• Pursuing a degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or Artificial Intelligence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand the company’s goals, customers, and product landscape.
• Rotate through divisions and contribute ideas to improve business outcomes.
• Tackle designated projects, research options, and present results during the internship.
• Interact with customers or clients to provide service and/or support data-driven solutions.
• Suggest improvements to management for processes and customer experience.
