Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Data Engineer Intern to design, build, and optimize data pipelines in Databricks. You will work with PySpark, SQL, and notebook workflows to support analytics and data-driven applications.

This paid 10-week internship runs June 1st to August 4th, 2027, with a 40-hour work week. Applicants must be enrolled in an undergrad or grad program, preferably in Data Engineering, CS, or AI, and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Qualifications

• Must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application.
• Major in Data Engineering, Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and optimizes data pipelines in Databricks to support analytics.
• Develops PySpark, SQL, and notebook workflows.
• Troubleshoots data issues and improves data quality and reliability.
