Vermeer is seeking an IT Data Engineer Intern in Pella, IA to support data integration efforts on a first-shift schedule. You will analyze data workflows, engage with developers, and ensure data quality and security across ETL processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Informatics or related field.
• Ability to validate data from various web services and integration technologies (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, ETL).
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data modeling and data warehouses.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL) techniques for accuracy.
• Understand business requirements and collaborate with integration developers using Agile.
• Follow data security standards and protect personally identifiable information.
• Ensure data activities meet requirements and data integrity best practices.
• Test and diagnose developed integrations for defects.
• Participate in project planning and review functional specs.
