Job summary

Ncontracts in Nashville seeks a Data Engineer II to join our data team. You will build ETL pipelines, expand the data warehouse and data models, and load analytics-ready data into the platform.

Collaboration with stakeholders to refine requirements, create reports and dashboards, and improve data architecture while mentoring junior teammates; experience with dbt, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake or Redshift preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing and implementing data warehouse and data lake solutions.
• Intimate knowledge of dbt is required.
• 3+ years with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift.
• Strong MS SQL Server background.
• Experience in data architecture and building data pipelines.
• Python skills are a plus; experience with CI/CD and version control.

Responsibilities

• Build out ETL pipelines across all Ncontracts products.
• Write performant, maintainable code with modern tooling and AI agents.
• Ensure quality of ETL processes.
• Define data models and create reports in analytics platform.
• Collaborate with data team and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Mentor teammates and promote continuous improvement.
• Help architect and scale a data platform.
