The Foundational People Data Services (FPDS) organization is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in building innovative cloud solutions that enables builders to address the needs of our global workforce of nearly 3 million employees.

We are at a strategic inflection point, as we have outgrown the third-party HR systems we once relied upon. We are developing highly reliable builder tools (powered by AWS) that make it possible for builders to create solutions that meet our high bar, while exceeding the speed of delivery that was only possible by way of third-party tools.
Responsibilities
- As a Data Engineer you will be working in one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments.
- You will be developing and supporting the analytic technologies that give our customers timely, flexible and structured access to their data.
- You will be responsible for designing and implementing a platform using third-party and in-house reporting tools, modeling metadata, building reports and dashboards in PeopleSoft
- You will work with business customers in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-6 years of related experience.
- Strong Oracle PeopleSoft experience
- SQL skills
- Very Strong development experience with notable BI reporting tools
- Should have experience developing complex and a variety of reports.
- A good candidate has strong analytical skills and enjoys working with large complex data sets.
- A good candidate can partner with business owners directly to understand their requirements and provide data which can help them observe patterns and spot anomalies.
Preferred:
- Understanding AWS technologies
4 openings
2 roles will work on data activities- Documenting and formatting for the coders.
2 actually building code for back end data bases.
