We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in the heart of Prime Video's technological innovation, focused on redefining the entertainment experience. This role involves solving complex data warehousing challenges, optimizing cloud-based solutions, and enabling strategic decision-making through high-quality data products. Working in one of the world's largest data warehouse environments, you will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of entertainment.

Job Summary

• Solve data warehousing problems on a vast scale using AWS cloud technologies.
• Focus on automation and optimization for DW/ETL maintenance and deployment.
• Work closely with global business partners and technical teams on unique business problems.
• Develop efficient systems and tools for data processing, designed for scalability and future growth.
• Directly impact strategic decisions in Prime Video through creative problem-solving and data products.
  
  

Must-Have Skills:

• 5 years of experience in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline construction.
• Strong programming/scripting experience, especially with Python or Java.
• Experience with SQL and database management, ideally Redshift or Snowflake, and familiarity with MPP RDBMS.
  
  

Industry Experience:

• Previous work within large scale data warehousing environments, particularly in the entertainment or media sectors, is highly advantageous.
