Job summary

Shopbop is seeking a Data Engineer in New York to solve complex data problems, build modern AWS-based pipelines, and empower analytics for marketing, finance, and operations. You will work with a cross-functional team, migrate legacy features, and contribute to a data-driven culture within Amazon Fashion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience operating highly available, distributed data systems or in software development.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Perl) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own projects to build new data pipelines and modernize ETL on AWS.
• Collaborate with Shopbop teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Partner with Science to bring AI solutions into production.
• Improve operational health, reduce data errors, and automate where possible.
• Participate in Amazon's engineering culture, learning and teaching with peers.
