Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Product & E-commerce Analytics team supporting Whole Foods Market’s digital presence. You will architect robust data infrastructures and develop advanced data pipelines to unlock the full potential of our expansive data landscape.

You will collaborate with BI Engineers and Data Scientists to advance analytics, build scalable data flows, and align solutions with business objectives, while embracing ambiguity and delivering value.

Qualifications

• 3 years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Responsibilities

• Help build the infrastructure that powers data-driven decision making.
• Manage and optimize usage of AWS resources to support data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with BI Engineers to establish best practices for data reporting, integrity, testing, validation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to implement analytics algorithms exploiting rich data sets.
• Drive architecture and technology decisions enabling a world-class user experience.
• Develop knowledge of Amazon’s various data sources to determine appropriate data resources for each use case.
