Job summary

Deloitte’s GPS AI & Data team is seeking a Data Engineer II to design and maintain data pipelines for analytics and AI initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust data solutions and support cloud-based ingestion, transformation, and storage components.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a technical field, 1+ year experience with Power Apps, SQL, Python, and data visualization/mining, and eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, engineering, math, data science, or a technical field.
• 1+ year experience with Power Apps, SQL and Python.
• 1+ year experience with data visualization and data mining.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel 0-10% on average.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines for analytics and AI use cases.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using cloud-based platforms.
• Implement data models, data quality controls, and monitoring to improve accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, developers, and clients to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Support deployment, documentation, defect resolution, and ongoing data product enhancements.
