Job summary

Deloitte's GPS AI & Data team is hiring a Data Engineer II to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and analytics solutions for government clients. You will work with cloud-based platforms, ensure data quality, and collaborate across analysts, architects, and developers to translate requirements into scalable data products.

The role requires 1+ years of Power Apps, SQL, and Python experience, a Bachelor's in a technical field, and eligibility for a US security clearance with up to 10%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a technical field.
• 1+ years of experience developing Power Apps solutions and 1+ years of experience using SQL and Python
• 1+ years of experience with data visualization and data mining
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and artificial intelligence use cases
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using cloud-based platforms and engineering tools
• Implement data models, data quality controls, and monitoring processes to improve accuracy, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, developers, and client stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into data solutions
• Support deployment, documentation, defect resolution, and ongoing enhancement of data products and platform components
