B&MI Data Foundations is an engineering pillar that builds and operates the shared data services, platforms and tooling underpinning analytics and AI across B&MI. Its remit spans data ingestion and processing, reusable datasets, data quality and consistent access, alongside environments for research and customer data workflows. The team owns the engineering and ongoing operation of these capabilities, with a focus on automation, reliability and reuse. It adopts enterprise platforms where they fit and builds shared solutions where needed, so product and research teams can work with reliable data without each team developing and maintaining its own infrastructure.
