Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Data Engineer in Illinois to design, build, test, implement and maintain IT solutions under guidance. This hybrid role requires in-office presence three days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu).

You will plan work, document products, foster relationships, and support Exelon Utility Analytics. Bachelor's in CS with 2–4 years in data warehousing, BI reporting, ETL/ELT is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline and 2-4 years' relevant experience in data warehouse design, BI reporting and ETL/ELT processing or 3-6 equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Ability to write clear, concise documentation, such as systems specifications, product descriptions, operational procedures.
• Understanding of data management concepts and data security basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, implement, and maintain IT solutions under guidance of a Sr. Data Engineer or Manager.
• Plan work activities, document products, monitor adherence to standards, and support business partners.
• Proactively build technical knowledge and relationships within the IT organization and with partners.
