Job summary

Exelon Corporation is hiring for a hybrid Data Engineer role in Illinois, supporting Exelon Utility Analytics. You will design, build, test, and maintain data solutions under guidance from a Senior Data Engineer or Manager.

In-office presence is required three days per week (Tue–Thu) with remote flexibility. The ideal candidate has a background in data warehousing, BI reporting, and ETL, plus cloud tech experience (Azure, Databricks).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline with 2–4 years' experience in data warehouse design, BI reporting, and ETL/TLT processing or 3–6 years' equivalent
• Ability to write clear, concise documentation
• Understanding of data access and backup/recovery strategies

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build, test IT software solutions per IT project standards
• Create and maintain product/service documentation aligning with standards
• Build business relationships and expand technical knowledge within the team
