Exelon is seeking a Data Engineer 1 to design, build, test, and maintain data solutions as part of the IT organization in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week (Tue–Thu) with some remote flexibility. You will contribute to data warehouse design, BI reporting, and ETL processing under guidance from a Sr.

Data Engineer or Manager. The role emphasizes documentation, adherence to development standards, and collaboration with outsourcing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computer science or related field and 2-4 years' relevant experience in data warehouse design, BI reporting and ETL/TLT processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform, document, and assist in planning work activities for projects and processes; design, build, and test IT software solutions per IT project standards.
• Enhance, maintain, or support existing IT products and processes to meet SLA (70%).
• Create documentation for products and services; apply best practices and monitor adherence within the team.
• Build relationships, expand technical knowledge, and develop business acumen within the discipline.
