Job summary

Ascot Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Data Engineer Level 1 to support data warehouse initiatives, including Phinsys and the Data & Integration Hub. You will perform analysis, development, testing, and production support in a hybrid office setting.

The role requires 2+ years in data engineering/analysis, strong SQL, experience with ETL tools, and familiarity with data modeling. Insurance industry knowledge is a plus, and you will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information systems, CS, data analytics, or related field.
2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst/Engineer for a large Data Warehouse.
Some ETL Tool experience; SSIS, Informatica, ADF.
Proven SQL skills and data modeling understanding.
Insurance industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as Data Engineer Level 1 for projects, enhancements, and production support.
Perform analysis, development, implementation, testing, and ongoing support of data warehouse projects.
Coordinate/lead production implementations to ensure smooth, quality releases.
Coordinate Ascot and Vendor resources to ensure high quality and timely deliverables.
Think independently to streamline work and improve speed and quality.
