Job summary

Janus Soft Inc. is seeking a Palantir Data Engineer to join a small team focused on building data transformation pipelines in Palantir Foundry.

You will integrate with external systems via API, parse responses into usable data objects, and contribute to UI design with TypeScript. The role involves tier 2 customer triage, translating concerns into concrete requirements and developing new tools and services for diverse data types and conditions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (Required).
• 3–5 years of professional data engineering experience.
• Expert proficiency in Palantir Foundry, Pipeline Builder, and Workshop.
• Advanced Python skills for complex data transformations.
• Front-End development with TypeScript for UI functions.
• Proven ability to integrate external systems via API and parse responses.

Responsibilities

• Move structured and unstructured data using approved methods.
• Ingest data for storage in local or enterprise locations.
• Develop code to format data for exploration and models.
• Analyze source data formats with Data Scientists to define transformations.
• Create ETL code and tools for data extraction and transformations.
• Deliver projectDocumentation including ETL mappings, guides, and access instructions.
