Job summary

Palantir Technologies is seeking software engineers to work on data-processing infrastructure powering Foundry and related products. You will contribute to planning, execution engines, and table scanning performance, while delivering design, reviews, testing, and release-ready code.

You will learn from experienced engineers and tackle real-world problems across production systems, with opportunities to broaden expertise in distributed data processing and open-source engines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one language such as Java, Rust, Scala, C++, or C.
• Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.
• Coursework or projects in databases, compilers, OS, or distributed systems.
• Contributions to open-source projects.

Responsibilities

• Write a new planning rule or add capability to a native execution engine.
• Make large tables faster to scan and improve performance.
• Engage in design, code review, testing, and release processes.
