Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or related field.
• 3 years of professional data engineering or backend software experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data query creation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Glue Catalog and Step Functions.
• Experience with data integration, migration and ETL functions.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, test, and maintain scalable data management systems and ETL pipelines.
• Build infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading using cloud tech (AWS).
• Support data migration efforts and ETL functions.
• Optimize database schemas and data collection/validation systems.
• Combine diverse data sources to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver production-ready datasets.
