Redhorse Corporation is seeking a proactive Mid-Level Data Engineer to advance data pipelines and analytics for DoD programs. You will ingest, transform, and optimize data across structured and unstructured datasets, enabling data-driven decisions in national security contexts.

The role offers visibility, hands-on growth, and collaboration within enterprise defense data environments, with a focus on security compliance and scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM field with 3+ years of data engineering experience (or Master’s with 2+ years).
• Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and processing large-scale data with Apache Spark.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Scala and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/MilCloud 2.0).
• Familiarity with STIGs and DoD security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, configure, and transform data to meet requirements.
• Build, automate, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Monitor data pipeline operations and optimize performance and cost.
• Prototype new data capabilities and deploy end-to-end data solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot bottlenecks and secure data retrieval.
