Job summary

Brite Consulting is seeking a technically strong Data Engineer/Developer to support modernization of data solutions in a federal financial management environment. Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering or related technical fields.
• Strong SQL skills with complex joins and transformations.
• Hands-on Python development and data pipeline experience.
• Experience building automated data processes and data integration.
• Understanding of data modeling, transformation, and quality concepts.
• Experience with large enterprise datasets and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data solutions for enterprise processes.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and automated data transformations.
• Use SQL and Python to integrate, transform, validate, and analyze data.
• Implement reconciliation logic, transformations, and business rules.
• Develop reusable code for automated data processes and data quality controls.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into trusted analytics datasets.
• Identify discrepancies and data-quality issues across systems.
• Document pipelines, mappings, dependencies, and governance aspects.
• Support migration to modern data-platform solutions and Databricks environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
