Role Overview

This is acontract-based, part-time, remote positionfor an experienced Data Engineer, supporting a targeted project with a duration of approximately2 to 3 months. The role is contingent upon project start and is compensated at$55 per hour. You will work alongside senior consultants and client stakeholders to prepare, transform, and migrate data usingSynthFlowas a core tool. Experience withDataikuis considered a strong asset but is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Master Management:Ensure authoritative control over data domains, maintaining consistency, accuracy, and governance across systems to support enterprise-wide integrity and decision-making
• Data Cleaning:Develop pipelines and processes to cleanse and normalize raw datasets
• Data Migration:Execute and validate data migration efforts between systems, ensuring data integrity and traceability
• Tool Proficiency:UtilizeSynthFlowfor data orchestration and transformation workflows
• Tool Flexibility:Experience withDataikuis preferred and beneficial for supplementary or future projects
• Collaboration:Work closely with internal engineers, project managers, and client teams to align on data definitions, ETL workflows, and delivery milestones
• Documentation:Maintain technical documentation of data sources, pipelines, and validations to support handoff and auditing

Requirements

• Proficiency withSynthFlowisrequired
• Familiarity withDataikuis preferred, especially for advanced data prep and automation
• Strong command of SQL, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and data validation techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and structured/unstructured data formats
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Clear and concise communicator with a client-focused mindset

Compensation

• $55/hour, contract-based
