Job summary

North Carolina Department of Revenue seeks a Data Engineer Analyst to support business intelligence initiatives, handling ETL data loads, data quality analysis, and report development. You will collaborate with IT professionals to translate business requirements into effective data solutions and develop end-to-end reports for internal customers.

The role involves end-to-end requirements gathering, testing, and production support, with hybrid or on-site work at the Raleigh headquarters.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT-related field, or equivalent combination with experience.
Experience with BI data loads, data quality, and reporting is valued.

Responsibilities

Support BI initiatives with data loads via ETL, data cleansing, and report development.
Develop and implement data solutions and reports for customers.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and present results to stakeholders.
Create and execute test scripts and document findings.
Provide daily and nightly support during peak periods.
