The North Carolina Department of Revenue is seeking a Data Engineer Analyst to support BI initiatives, data loads via ETL, and reporting for internal and external customers. You will work within the ITIL framework and collaborate with IT professionals across teams.

Responsibilities include data analysis, requirements gathering, and building reports. The role offers telework, hybrid, or on-site options at the Raleigh headquarters with a focus on SAS/SQL/PL-SQL development and data quality

Qualifications

• Knowledge of programming languages including SQL, PL/SQL, and SAS.
• Experience with extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data.
• Demonstrated ability to develop ad hoc reports using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Development and support experience in SAS and Windows/Unix environments.
• Experience working with systems processing event-based logs, user logs, and debugging complex systems.

Responsabilités

• Support BI initiatives through ETL processes, data analysis, and reporting needs.
• Translate business requirements into solutions and develop reports for customers.
• Provide daily/ nightly operational support during tax season as needed.
