Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain data infrastructure for the DISCO Finance team. You will build scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and models to support analytics, ML, and business decisions at scale.

Qualifications

• 3 years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Architect a state-of-the-art data analytics platform on AWS using the AWS CDK.
• Construct scalable data pipelines with SQL/PySpark/Airflow for large data volumes.
• Design scalable data warehousing on AWS with appropriate storage technologies.
• Automate ETL/ELT processes to improve data integration and reliability.
• Develop data models to support BI and interactive reports.
• Enable ML and generative AI capabilities with EMR and SageMaker.
• Monitor and optimize pipelines and databases for low latency.
• Ensure data security and compliance with internal standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data projects.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation.
