Job summary

Discord is seeking an experienced Data Engineer, Analytics to own the transformation and semantic layer that turns data into clean, tested tables and dashboards that data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders can trust and self-serve from.

You will partner with data science, product, and engineering teams to define and implement metric definitions, enforce data quality, and drive adoption of consistent modeling patterns across the data organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of analytics or data engineering focusing on curated datasets.
• 3+ years designing and maintaining robust data models from structured and unstructured sources.
• 3+ years writing SQL code accurately and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain curated analytical datasets and models for metrics and dashboards.
• Own metric definitions end to end from concept to production and visualization.
• Build executive dashboards and self-serve reporting for stakeholders.
