Job summary

Fastly, a leading edge cloud platform, is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Analytics team in San Francisco or remote. You will help scale our data infrastructure, optimize pipelines on GCP, and enable data-driven decisions across the business.

You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts and product teams to define KPIs, build data products, and promote self-service analytics with clear governance and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on BI/Analytics experience.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery a plus).
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills for building data products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify analytics needs.
• Define KPIs with business teams.
• Design and build data products like pipelines and models.
• Document analytics best practices and promote data discoverability.
