Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. seeks a Data Scientist/Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled data solutions for DoD programs.

Based at Scott AFB, IL, the role blends analytics, ML, and software engineering to deliver scalable data pipelines and decision-support tools in secure, containerized environments. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data or software engineering, a Bachelor's in CS/IS/Data Engineering (Master's preferred), and experience with Databricks, Palantir, AWS, Spark, and ML

Qualifications

3+ years of data engineering or software engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Data Engineering or related field; master's preferred.
Experience with data pipelines, pre-processing, feature engineering, and ML services.

Responsibilities

Help shape and deploy data pipelines and pre-processing workflows.
Develop ML models from training to deployment, with reproducibility and testing.
Collaborate with product managers, platform engineers, and mission stakeholders in agile environments.
