Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist / Engineer to support the design, development, and operational deployment of AI-enabled data solutions for the DoD’s CDAO ADA IR program.

You will shape data pipelines, feature engineering strategies, and ML services in secure, containerized environments. The role requires strong statistical modeling and software engineering skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and experience in agile practices to deliver reproducible results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field; Masters preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering; able to design and manage complex data pipelines.
• Experience with data visualization and storytelling using enterprise tools such as Palantir MSS Workshop or Slate is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, AI-enabled data solutions within secure environments.
• Build data pipelines, pre-processing workflows, feature engineering, and ML services.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, platform engineers, and stakeholders to turn raw data into actionable insights.
• Work in agile environments emphasizing reproducibility, testing, and continuous delivery.
