Job summary
Cresset is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to develop the data warehouse and data platform on AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake. You will design APIs and event-driven services to expose data to downstream applications and AI experiences.
You will work with senior engineers, business partners, and department heads to build robust data services, integrate data from multiple sources, and support AI-driven use cases with LLMs and retrieval pipelines.

- Assist in developing the Cresset Data Warehouse and broader data platform.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and messaging services exposing data to apps and AI experiences.
- Help build AI infrastructure and integration layer connecting data platform to AI experiences.
- Acquire and integrate data from multiple sources via vendor APIs, streams, and batch processes.
- Improve performance and reliability of data services through data modeling and automation.
- Collaborate with engineers and business partners to prioritize data and integration requests.
