Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer to convert raw data into information for data scientists and business analysts. The role centers on data accessibility to enable performance evaluation and optimization across the organization.

You will build pipelines in Azure Synapse, apply Spark and Python tools, and collaborate with analysts to ensure high-quality data for analytics and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Python for data engineering (Spark, Pandas)
• 2+ years of experience in SQL for data engineering
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Strong data analytics background
• Motivated to expand knowledge in data engineering, analytics and AI

Responsibilities

• Implement pipelines to move raw data in Azure Synapse using Spark, Python, SQL and C#
• Develop machine learning and regression analysis skills with Spark-Python-Pandas, OpenAI and Azure ML
• Employ Azure DevOps and Git following SDLC best practices
• Interpret requirements provided by Business and Data Analysts
• Act as a liaison with Analysts and Testing teams to promote smooth development execution
• Triage and troubleshoot data aberrations submitted by the user community
• Other duties as assigned
