В кандидате ожидается опыт проектирования и построения отчетности Workday, создание дашбордов и аналитик, обеспечение безопасности данных и соответствие требованиям governance.

Qualifications

• Минимум 5 лет опыта в Data Engineering/BI с сильной работой по отчетности Workday.
• Опыт проектирования и построения всех основных типов отчетов Workday (Advanced, Matrix, Composite).
• Опыт работы с рассчитанными полями, источниками данных и параметрами/распределением отчетов.
• Опыт работы с дашбордами и аналитикой в Workday.
• Отличное владение английским языком и хорошие навыки взаимодействия с заинтересованными сторонами.

Responsibilities

• Планирование и проведение воркшопов по требованиям с владельцами бизнес-процессов.
• Перевод бизнес-вопросов в структурированные требования к отчетности.
• Анализ текущих отчетов и решения о замене/объединении/перестройке.
• Проектирование и сборка отчетов Workday и информационных панелей (Dashboards).
• Создание и поддержка документации по дизайну, руководств и каталога отчетов.
• Передача знаний авторам отчетов и оказание поддержки после внедрения.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and deliver a fit-for-purpose Workday reporting portfolio, grounded in clearly documented and validated business requirements. The role combines report development with business analysis, adjusted to programme priorities. You will work with business stakeholders, as well as the integration team, to design, build, test and deploy reports, dashboards and analytics that are secure, reusable and compliant with the reporting governance framework.

• Plan and facilitate requirements workshops, interviews and walkthroughs with business owners and subject-matter experts


• Translate business questions into structured reporting requirements (purpose, audience, data elements, filters, prompts, frequency, security and distribution)


• Analyse current-state reports from legacy systems and decide whether to retire, replace, consolidate or rebuild them in Workday


• Challenge and prioritise requests against business value, data availability and delivered Workday functionality


• Maintain a requirements inventory and traceability matrix, and obtain formal business sign-off on requirements and delivered reports


• Design and build Workday reports of all types: Simple, Advanced, Matrix, Composite, Trending and Transposed


• Develop dashboards, Discovery Boards and worklet-based analytics for managers and executives


• Create and maintain calculated fields, custom report data sources and prompts, following naming and reuse standards


• Build reports used as data sources for integrations (e.g. RaaS / Workday web services) in coordination with the integration team


• Apply Workday domain and business process security so that users see only the data they are authorised to see


• Optimise report performance and resolve defects


• Prepare unit test evidence, support SIT and BAT execution and manage report migration across tenants


• Produce functional and technical design documentation, user guides and a report catalogue


• Transfer knowledge to report writers and key users, and provide hyper‑care support after go‑live

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Reporting or Business Intelligence, with strong hands‑on experience in Workday reporting


• Proven experience designing and building all main Workday report types, including Advanced, Matrix and Composite reports


• Strong experience with calculated fields, custom report data sources, prompts and report scheduling and bursting


• Experience building dashboards, Discovery Boards and worklet‑based analytics


• Good understanding of Workday domain and business process security


• Experience building reports for integrations (RaaS / web services)


• Experience supporting testing activities (unit, SIT, BAT) and release management across tenants


• Solid experience in requirements gathering, business analysis and documentation


• Understanding of reporting governance, data security and data protection requirements


• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• Fluent English


• Workday certification in reporting


• Experience with Workday integrations and the integration team's way of working


• Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments


• Experience migrating reports from legacy systems to Workday


• Experience delivering training or knowledge transfer to report writers
