Job summary

Mondo in Burbank, CA is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data pipelines for analytics and AI/ML data products. The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite in Burbank.

You will build batch and streaming pipelines using AWS tools, collaborate with architects on data models, and ensure data quality while mentoring junior engineers. Contract through 12/31/26 with potential extension; pay rate $65-$70 per hour.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in AWS (Glue, Kinesis, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow or Step Functions).
• Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift).
• Proven ability to build and optimize batch and streaming pipelines.

This role is eligible to enroll in both Mondo's health insurance plan and retirement plan. Mondo defers to the applicable State or local law for paid sick leave eligibility.
