Job summary

Experis is seeking a Data Engineer in Austin, TX for a fully onsite role. You will design, build, and manage scalable data and AI platforms and pipelines that support enterprise-wide data initiatives, with focus on data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL/ELT pipelines.

You will collaborate with semiconductor engineers, data scientists, business stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver dependable data systems and apply cloud technologies and software engineering best practices across the data

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in system design, database design, data modeling, and data architecture.
• Hands-on experience building enterprise software with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code) and using Snowflake, Databricks, NiFi, and Postgres.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• 5+ years of cloud computing experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (Azure preferred).
• Experience with Infrastructure-As-Code and CI/CD, plus collaboration with international teams, particularly China and India.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in system design, database design, data modeling, and data architecture, preferably in the semiconductor industry or related high-tech sectors.
• Hands-on experience building enterprise software with AI coding tools (examples: Cursor, Claude Code) and using tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, NiFi, and Postgres.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• At least 5+ years of cloud computing experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (with Azure preferred).
• Experience with Infrastructure-As-Code and CI/CD automation, plus collaboration experience with international teams, particularly in China and India.
