Job summary

DSV is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to process customer orders, handle paperwork, and coordinate shipping tasks. The role runs a 1A shift from 5:00am to 5:30pm on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays.

The position offers base pay with location-based compensation and opportunities to engage with operations and customer service teams. You will enter orders, verify shipments, and maintain accurate documentation while communicating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; able to respond to customers professionally.
• Preferred: customer service experience including phone calls and operating office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer orders, checking for special requests and shipping paperwork.
• Coordinate special, last minute shipping requests with operations, expediting orders as necessary.
• Prioritize customer orders according to scheduled pick-up time or pier cutoff and furnish shipping/tracking information.
• Maintain relationship with customers by responding to inquiries in a courteous, efficient manner and report feedback to management.
• Enter and verify data regarding orders, shipments, receipts, adjustments in the system.
• Ensure accuracy of receiving/shipping documents and maintain related files.
