Job summary

Ilocatum seeks a junior Strategic Sourcing Analyst (Buyer) in the Milwaukee area to lead data management and quantitative analyses of sourcing activities. You will help create analytical tools, validate information for commodities, and support senior analysts with purchasing decisions and KPI development.

You will report to the Director of Sourcing and Senior Analysts and have opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

2+ years in strategic sourcing and commodity management for manufacturing.
Experience with master supplier agreements and cost breakdown methodologies.
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and reporting tools.
Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
Willing to travel 20–30%.
Exposure to commodities such as castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics.
APICS certification would be a plus.

Responsibilities

Research and analyze assigned commodities and consolidate data for senior analysts to guide purchasing decisions.
Develop key performance metrics for various areas of the supply chain and adjust KPI metrics as processes improve.
Create business flow process diagrams.
Compile and report findings to senior team members.
