Job summary

Bellwether Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Buyer (Sr Sourcing Analyst) in Milwaukee, WI, for an onsite role on the North side. The position targets manufacturing sourcing, new product development, and supplier strategy leadership.

You will manage $30–$50 million in spend, drive cost reductions, lead supplier negotiations, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional partners. Local candidates only; travel 20–30% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Exposure to commodities such as castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics.
• Working knowledge of master supplier agreements and cost breakdown methodologies.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Understand timeline development and cost structures.
• Open to 20% to 30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supplier relationships while leveraging deep sourcing expertise.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer (Sr Sourcing Analyst) in Milwaukee, WI (North side) with manufacturing industry experience. This role is onsite 5 days. The Senior Buyer will lead sourcing activities related to new product development and current products in assigned commodity space. Must have experience with commodities such as castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics. You will also develop, implement and drive Category/Subcategory as well as Supplier Strategies. 90K – 115K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package (could go up to 125K+ if candidate has 12-15+ years of experience).
