Job summary
EvenUp is hiring a Software Engineer to help build the integration engine and data products that power our legal-tech platform. You will work with backend engineers, product owners, and designers to deliver scalable integrations and APIs that improve client outcomes.
The role emphasizes full lifecycle ownership, collaboration, and a strong emphasis on performance and reliability. Prior experience with REST/GraphQL and React/TypeScript is a plus, along with interest in AI and social impact
Qualifications
- Internship experience or 1 year of hands-on, relevant experience crafting applications and services.
- Experience integrating with third-party vendors and building integration frameworks.
- Skilled in designing RESTful APIs and following industry standards.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and protocols (SOAP, REST, GraphQL); SQL proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own full project lifecycle from conception to deployment and iteration.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product owners and designers on solutions.
- Gather requirements and translate into technical designs.
- Design interfaces and integration architectures.
- Document interface requirements and translate specs into designs.
- Solve problems with strong programming skills across languages and frameworks.
- Optimize application performance and user experience.
