EvenUp is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Growth engineering pod, building AI-powered customer communication for personal injury law firms. You will own end-to-end technical decisions, shaping architecture and product direction, in a hybrid role based in SF or Toronto.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience as an individual contributor.
• Experience shipping production systems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Ship backend features and services across the Growth pod from multi-channel outreach agents to configurable workflows.
• Own technical decisions end-to-end from design through production.
• Collaborate with Product and Design on evolving specs and bespoke customization requests.
• Build for low-latency, high-performance needs as usage scales.
• Contribute across email, SMS, and voice channel work.
