Coalition, Inc. is seeking a Reserving Actuarial Analyst to evaluate loss reserves across multiple P&C lines and own quarterly reserving and profit share analyses. You will work with finance, claims, engineering, and underwriting partners to translate data into clear, actionable insights ensuring reliable financial results.

This role emphasizes robust modeling, governance, and transparent reporting. A strong actuarial background, Excel, and programming skills are essential; ongoing ACAS/FCAS

Qualifications

• 6+ years of P&C actuarial experience with reserving and financial reporting.
• Progress toward ACAS/FCAS with actuarial exams.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field.
• Strong Excel experience for actuarial models and analyses.
• Experience with large datasets; SQL, R, or Python.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Attention to detail and reproducibility of analyses.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly reserve and profit share analyses.
• Build reserving exhibits, reserve triangles, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Claims, Finance, Underwriting to assess loss drivers.
• Refine methodologies, governance, and control processes.
• Prepare actuarial reports for senior management and regulators.
• Support automation to make analyses repeatable and scalable.
