Job summary

Sunlight Batteries USA, based in Mebane, NC, is seeking a Production Scheduler to strengthen production visibility, execution, and cross-functional coordination across manufacturing operations. You’ll support site planners, manage daily/weekly schedules, and analyze data from SAP and other systems to align production with customer and business priorities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, scheduling, materials, supply chain, operations, or a related environment preferred.
• Exposure to SAP, MRP, ERP, or similar manufacturing/business systems preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with operational data and reports.
• Power BI or similar data-visualization experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, material availability, capacity, and priorities.
• Support Site Planners by communicating changes to Production and stakeholders.
• Monitor schedule attainment and identify risks to production output or commitments.
• Coordinate scheduling adjustments due to shortages, labor constraints, equipment, or changing priorities.
• Support the release and sequencing of production orders to maximize efficiency.
• Develop and maintain scheduling, backlog, capacity, and delivery-performance reports.
• Provide day-to-day scheduling support to Site Planners and manufacturing operations.
