Job summary

Vestwell is seeking a Product Manager to drive data-centric product initiatives across our platform. You’ll translate end-user needs into actionable features, work with operations, development, QA, and business stakeholders, and help refine our product vision.

A strong background in data, pipelines, and AI is valued, as is ability to manage requirements and acceptance criteria. The role is based in either New York or Austin and operates within a hybrid in-office model.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Product Management experience.
• Strong business and systems analysis skills.
• Ability to document business/functional requirements and use cases.
• Experience managing project work through the SDLC.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with Product, Engineering, and QA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong stakeholder interfacing.
• Experience reading and writing SQL.

Responsibilities

• Understand high-level strategic initiatives and translate inputs into buildable features.
• Communicate plans and decisions effectively to teams and stakeholders.
• Partner with developers to break down requirements into tasks with clear acceptance criteria.
• Assist QA in defining test cases and ensuring coverage and code quality.
• Provide feedback to development and sign off features for end-user verification.
• Develop processes and tools to track usage trends and inform future plans.
