Job summary

Vestwell is seeking a Software Engineer to help grow our financial tech platform. You will work with engineering and product teams to integrate Vestwell’s systems with third-party data and services, and help design architectures for SaaS integrations.

Join a collaborative engineering culture, own vertical slices of features, and contribute to our hybrid in-office model in New York City or Austin. Prioritize reliability with TS/JS tooling and AWS in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
• Experience with SQL-based databases and testing (TDD).
• Experience implementing service oriented systems.
• Expertise with Git and AWS services.
• Familiarity with Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban).
• CS Degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering and Product teams to integrate Vestwell’s systems with third party data and services.
• Collaborate closely with other Engineers and the rest of the Vestwell team to determine architecture and design for SaaS integrations.
• Orchestration of data transfers and synchronization across multiple internal and external systems.
• Monitor and support our third-party system integrations.
